Title: Tips & Resources
Stuff that’s actually helped me, not the generic “keep your head down” advice you see everywhere.
- Get fit for your driver. Seriously, it’s not just for low handicappers.
- Short game reps matter more than range time once you get past the beginner stage.
- Course management (playing to your actual ability instead of the pro line) saves more strokes than a slightly better swing.
- Track your rounds somehow, even just a notes app. You start noticing patterns in where you’re losing strokes.
Links I’ve found useful:

- USGA course ratings and slope explanations (usga.org)
